Each year, the EU witnesses the export of millions of farm animals, in addition to countless more transported across great distances within its borders. These animals are forced to embark on gruelling journeys spanning hundreds or even thousands of miles.

Their unfortunate fate is either to be brutally slaughtered upon reaching their destination or to be fattened under often deplorable conditions for eventual slaughter.

It is a pressing issue calling for immediate action. Sign the petition to the European Commission today, urging a definitive end to live exports.

At this very moment, a golden opportunity to influence EU legislation on animal transportation has presented itself. Transport Regulation (1/2005) is currently undergoing a significant revision termed as a 'fitness check', and the Commission has expressed commitment to amend this legislation.
